At Arnold Lodge School, our house system forms the foundation of our school ethos and daily life. Every pupil belongs to one of three houses: Dedicas (hard work), Veritas (honesty), or Amicus (kindness), each with four guiding mantras that shape behaviour, character development and community spirit.
This document demonstrates how our house mantras actively promote pupils' spiritual, moral, social and cultural (SMSC) development and Fundamental British Values (democracy, rule of law, individual liberty, and mutual respect). The mantras provide practical, age-appropriate guidance that pupils can understand and apply in their daily lives.
